  • How do I apply for a business license?

    The Town of Brantley requires each person, firm, corporation or other business entity to obtain a business license prior to conducting business in the Town of Brantley, or its police jurisdiction. The license year is January 1 through December 31. Business license renewals are due in January and delinquent after January 31 each year. Proof of State Certification is required for certain classifications.


    The cost of a business license varies based on the type of business and/or trade. For more information on Business Licenses, please contact Town Hall at (334) 527-8624 or brantleyalabama@gmail.com.

  • How do I obtain a yard sale permit?

    The Town of Brantley requires a yard sale permit in the corporate limits of the Town.  


    To obtain a yard sale permit, come by Town Hall located at 10 M.L. King Ave.

    Payments may be made in person, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.


    Payments may be made with cash, checks, debit/credit card (fee applies), or money order.  


    Water will NOT be turned on after 3:30 pm.

    Traffic tickets may be paid in person, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The Brantley Municipal Court does not accept personal or company checks.  All cashier’s checks and money orders should be made payable to Brantley Municipal Court.

    The Town Council meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the old Armory.

  • When and where do I pay my water bill?

    All payments for water bills are due at the close of business on the 11th of each month. If the 11th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, then payment is due the next business day. If you have any questions about your bill, please stop by Town Hall at 10 M. L. King Avenue or call 334-527-8624.
